The Award: The Spirit of Hope Award is a special honor that recognizes those individuals who have worked in the trenches, often against popular opinion, and who have used their time, money and/or talents to advance the fight against this devastating disease. This honor is particularly notewarothy as honorees are selected entirely by people living with HIV/AIDS. 2007 Honorees: Jeffrey Bowman, Legendary Bingo – presented by Lisa Ann Walter; W. David Hardy, MD of Cedars Sinai Medical Center – presented by Dr. Michael Gottlieb; Larry Hashbarger, Bettie McKenzie & Laura Heffron of Macy's Passport – presented by Reichen A.
